Lost document

I was working on a microsoft word document and attempted to save it to my USB
stick where it was stored and it displayed some type of error. Since this
error my document is no longer on my USB stick. Can I find this document
stored someplace else as a temporary file?

You must never save a Word doc directly to a removable drive. You save to
your hard drive first, then copy to the removable one. Try searching your
hard drive for the file.

Open Word, click File > Open > click Recent Places under Favorite links >
filter by Date modified > look to see if it shows up.
