Windows XP lost data

my pc (XP) would not start at all in any safe mode that i tried, i then installed the suppliers (Evesham, who no longer exsist) re-boot CD-ROM, it is now functioning as normal. but i have lost all my photos, music, files etc, is there any way i can retrieve all this back.

Hi Garry

Welcome to PCR forum
Go HERE and download Recuva..Its free to download..Once you have installed it set it to work to recover all your photo's, files etc..

hi anybody

could you please help me on this......my browser (IE) will not connect, i keep getting the "failed to connect" box, i have set up the modem correctly according to TalkTalk assist & go and it did connect (for about an hour) and now nothing.

Yes.
It may work & it may not?
You could always contact your ISP for help?

talktalk are pretty much useless, better to try myself.....any other ideas ? anybody.....
