I was in the hospital and my windows Vista updated automatically also- all my
e-mail contact are lost - hoe can we get them back? Many addressess are old
ones and I have no way of contacting these people other than my address book-
HELP - Please.

First, determine whether your Contacts are truly "lost."

Press the Windows (Start) key on your keyboard.
Type "kind:contact" without the quotes. ( "kind" colon "contact" )
If one or more Contacts appear, right-click on one and choose "Open file
location."

Does that help you find some or all Contacts? If so, copy them to your
Contacts folder.

In the meantime, do not empty the Recycle Bin, and look in there.

Let us know.

thank you Brian, I found them I just have to re-write them all- but much
easier than trying to relocate all those people - again thanks so very much.
