New Contact Group trouble

Bonnie

Hi, anyone who can help!! When Windows Vista changes from Windows Address
book to Windows Contacts, I lost the ability to put my contacts in groups,
which I use all the time. It says the Windows Contacts toolbar should have a
"New Contact Group" button, but mine only has Organize, View and Burn. How
do I fix this??? Help, please, from a tired MOP (Mother of Preschoolers!)

On the Contacts window click at the top on "View", then "Customize this
Folder" (near the bottom of the drop down). This opens a "Contacts
Properties Box". In the drop down menu under "Use this folder type as a
template" choose "Contacts", then click OK. The missing buttons will appear
on the toolbar.

Hope this solves your problem. Have a blessed day!

Dear larry,

Thanks for answering this question. Why in the world can't Microsoft make it
this simple! They should pay Larry a consulting fee. Thank you.

Larry,

My View drop down menu does not have a "Customize this folder" option. What
do I do now?

Please ignore my previous reply. I found the answer in another thread.

Thanks, anyway.
