I have a home network with 3 wired computers on linksys access point. I moved
one of my computers and now cannot connect to the internet. In the network
folder it shows I am [email protected] Mbps but when I try to open IE my
option are to work offline or try again with the service screen displayed. It
will not even allow me access to linksys setup. Please help with terminology
for dummies.

Glad to help, but you haven't explained clearly enough. You have a
Linksys cable/dsl router or a wireless access point? I suspect the
former since you do say your computers are wired. What do you mean by
"moved one of my computers"? Did you move it to another part of the
room or somewhere else with an ethernet port? What did you do? If you
simply moved the computer and properly connected it to the router with
ethernet, do you see a green light on the NIC? Perhaps the NIC was
dislodged when you moved the machine. Open it up and reseat the card.

If you'd like more specific help, post back to this thread with a better
description of the network, what you did, and what is actually
happening.
