Lost all digital movie maker projects in computer

I have lost all of my digital movie maker projects. All the videos that were
saved to the computer are fine so far.
When i open my movie maker projects they all now come up with red X's.vcThe
only thing that shows up is the titles. It still plays the video, however, it
shows nothing but black screen.
Any help will be greatly appreciated

The red Xs mean that the source files that you used to make the movie
project are no more there where these used to be. Double click on one of the
clip showing red X, it will ask you to locate the source file. Locating once
usually means it can find its way for the remaining ones as well. Otherwise
you will have to repeat the process for all of them. Did you remove those
files?

I figured this out the hard way...twice. I'm constantly renaming and
organizing my folders. Be renaming or moving a folder it loses MM.
Shocking to see all those X's after working hours on a movie...rename the
folder back, all is well...funny.
