Lost all audio when cleaning out computer

Have lost all of AOL sounds, login and logoff sounds. Can
install cd and get music so that portion works. I think I
might have accidently erased a file with some settings in
it when I cleaded out a bunch of garbage.

Try using System Restore to take you back to a time prior to when this
started, Start\All Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Restore.
