losing email

I'm not new to Outlook, but having a problem I can't solve. For some reason my incoming email has been quickly showing in the "inbox" then disappearing. I can't find it - using Search and checking all folders. I can send myself an email and see it arrive and go - to ????. I don't remember changing any settings that I have been using, but must have done something.

I can send myself email using my husband's account/email address and it comes in and doesn't disappear - when I use my account/email address it does
I have removed all "junk email blocked" - and added my own email address to safe Senders with no luck. Can anyone advise me on what I should do to get back to receiving my email. Thank you, Pat

Are you sure your View is set correctly? You might need to reset in in
View-> Current View-> Customize...-> Reset
