Losing DSL (Broadband) connection

Using Win XP Pro SP2. I am being "bugged" by a fault that when I am using
MSN Messenger, at about the same time every night I lose my internet
connection! A check of Administrative Tools | Event Viewer | Application and
System shows no problems. I can use the modem diagnostics and it shows that
the modem is working correctly. To fix the problem I disconnect the power to
the modem for at least two mins and then reconnect again (sometimes I need
to restart the computer) in order to get my broadband connection working
again. I am using a D-Link 302G with the latest firmware updates. Any body
got any ideas where to find the answer to this problem or how I may
otherwise troubleshoot the problem myself?

Suggest you contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) for the problems
on disconnect using their DSL service. It is not an XP problem, your location
may be the cause.
