Loses Drop-Down in Draft

I created a message that I plan to use as a template for future e-mails. As
part of the template I used the web tools to add a drop-down box with a
couple of possible values I entered through the control properties. When I
save the message as draft and pull it back up, the drop-down is gone and I
just have the values listed.

Is there a way to save this as draft where I won't lose the drop-down box
and the possible selection values?

Thanks for your help.

When you say publish, I assume you mean send? When I pull the message up
from drafts, it doesn't even have the drop-down box to select from. It just
lists the options as text on the line.

For example, I set up the drop-down with the 2 options "Verbal Approval" and
"Approval Pending". Before I save it as draft, the drop-down works as expect.

When I pull it up from draft, it looks like this:

Verbal Approval Approval Pending

without a drop-down. So I can't select the proper status to be able to send
it.
Thanks.

no, I mean publish as a custom form. Did you ever save it as a template or
just save it as a draft while in designer mode?
