Recently I cannot make IE6 retain my toolbar settings. I can't think of something I did to precipitate this, but here's the scenario

It's should be quite simple. I open IE6. My Links toolbar is on but pushed all the way to the right off screen so I just get the Links>>. I Unlock the toolbars, drag the Links toolbar to the left so I can see all of my links then Lock the toolbar.

I continue through my browsing session and close. Next time I open IE6, my Links toolbar is all the way to the right again. So, I go throught the same procedure. I have noticed that this happens wherever I put my links toolbar or however I arrange my toolbars, the succeeding session always opens up as describe above
