Lose Internet Connection When Play Web Based Video or Audio

Short story..everything worked but my processor was always running at high
usage for unexplainable reasons so I tried an XP repair installation x 2 with
no fix. I tried a new install and everything works fine..I can get on the
internet, go wherever I want etc but...

I am unable to configure my Linksys router. As soon as the setup begins, my
pre- existing network addresses disappear and I lose connectivity.

If I blow off the router install, and just reset power, I can get on the
internet using the default browser config. BUT, if i try to play a video on
say CNN or Yahoo, or use Windows Media Player to search for a radio station,
my network addresses disappear and I have to power reset the router to get my
connection back.

I think this is very wierd, suspect it has to do with my new XP install, and
have no idea where to go. Have done all the usual things with no success.

Can anybody help?

It is n't wired, the wired you want everything fast as your game, you didn't
give the Router settings time to reset what you want to set it to.
Always if you logged on the Router and done some changes give at least One
(una) minute to store the new settings then Hit Logout and click Home on the
Router page to see if the green text Connected is there or still not
connected (red).
You may have Malwares so scan for them and clean up your caches and run disk
cleanUp:

Also try o repair the winsock, you can repair it in two ways:
Manually :
Open a Run command and type in:
netsh winsock reset click [OK] and Reboot your machine.
Or by downloading this winsock fixer from here:

HTH.
Let us know.
