loosing modem blaster DE5621

I have just loaded Windows Xp. It did not recognize my
Modem blaster De5621 external Modem. I downloaded the Xp
driver at the Creative.com web site and loaded it. It works
fine except when I power down my computer. On power up it
no longer shows up in the device manager. I can go to "add
new harware" and it will see it. I can reload the Xp driver
again. It works fine again until I power down. Then it is
the same thing all over again

poor thing, ive had the same problem with my blaster as well.
