Looping Audio Question

Here is the scenario:
- Using PPT 2003, SP2 on Win XP Pro machine
- Making a quick looping slideshow for a Christmas Party.
- All slides set to automatically advance
- Show setup to loop until ESCape
- Insert audio file onto slide 1 (also experimented with hidden slide and on
Master)
- Audio = .MP3 (also tried .wma and embedded .wav)
- Audio set to loop
- Audio set to Continue playing for 999 slides

Problem:
- Slideshow loops from last slide to slide #1 (loop until escape)
- Audio does not continue to play but starts again... (hence experimenting
with audio on a hidden slide and the Master slide)

Any Ideas?
- Anyone know of a way to have the audio file continue to loop seamlessly as
the slideshow loops back to slide 1?

Many Thanks,
Troy Chollar

Hey I knew Glenna was brilliant! I actually just spent the past 10 minutes
doing almost exactly what she describes - so much for patting myself on the
back. Thanks Tohlz for the quick reply.

Thanks Echo! But then that defeats the purpose of making PPT do
everything....

If that's the purpose, true.

But if the purpose is to get what you want done done ... well ... whatever
tools fall to hand, ya know?
