Constant Audio Playback through Slides...

Is there a way to have an audio file that is introduced in one slide continue
through numerous slides? I want to introduce a song at the begining of the
PowerPoint and have it continue through the entire PowerPoint. Each picture
in the PowerPoint would be timed the same length so that the slideshow of
pictures ends when the song ends.

My luck so far is that I can't give each picture its own slide because once
I go to a next slide, the audio stops. Thus, it seems thus far that I would
have to have all pictures entering and exiting within one slide in order for
the audio to play through all pictures. Is this the case, or is there a way
for each picture to have a different slide with the audio playing through?

Thanks for that.

Youa re listed as the editor of that source, so I have this follow-up...
I guess that I could go through the lengthy process in Windows Movie Maker
or anothe rprogram of converting a WMA file into mp3 or WAV. But is the
method listed on that webpage usable with WMA formats?
