loop continuously or kiosk

I want to have my presentation loop continuously or play automatically. I
know that I have accomplished this before, however, this time it is not
working. I am currently using Office 2002; under Slide Show, Set up Show; I
check Loop continuously until "Esc", but when I view the show it just stops
at the first page. What am I missing? It also does the same when I choose
the Browsed at a kiosk option, too.

Thanks,

Carol

Try this -
Click on Slide Show
Click on Set up Show
Under "Advance slide" make sure "use timing, if present" is selected

Both the advance slides say using timings, if present and Show slides says all.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Have you checked that slide transitions are set to advance automatically?

Is there a video or music on slide 1?

Right after I sent the last post, the slide transitions occurred to me and
they were set to Advance w/mouse click, so that was the problem.

The presentation I plan to create and loop will be pictures and I plan to
put music to it. Does it cause a problem if it is on slide one?

Thanks so much,

Carol

I was just going to ask if you had a music track on slide 1. That's a
typical thing that stops the slides transitioning.

Make sure you set the custom animation setting for the music track on slide
1 so it's set to "stop after 999 slides." That should do the trick.
