With all the issues over activation and WGA stuff, what is going to
happen in the future, at a time when XP is no longer supported, if I
decide to resurrect my dear old computer that has XP on it and it
tells me I have to activate it? How is one going to deal with that
after XP is old and forgotten by MS, but not for all using it? What
happens if Microsoft goes out of business? I'm not comfortable having
an product that continued use of requires that the manufacturer is
still around. I can still drive my old 38 Packard auto, but there's no
Packard dealer around. Anyone see my point?
