long file in temp files wont delete

hello. A file has deposited itself inside my temp files IN the
temporary internet files with a name like1141567377@counter,
headerspon, etc long long file , it has only two option and that is to
send to or open and it wont open or delete. What is this and what can
I do?I have Windows xp and a new harddrive. My norton runs clean and
so does adaware.It says the path is invalid...

Clear the IE cache and cookies, after you do error checking on the drive.
(rightclick the drive, properties, tools tab)

Clear the IE cache. (IE, tools, Options, Delete Files button, include
offline content.) then delete cookies.
