logonui.exe - Application error

The instruction at "0x73d77b2f" refernced memory at "0xcdd959ac".
The memory could not be "written".

My previous question regards about this particular .exe
Now I have restored the damaged partition, I tried restarting, but this
error shows up, just like last time.

It showed up just before user select screen. Any more help is appreciated.

Disable fast user switching, I do, it's a needless service if your
using you computer yourself or too lazy to reboot into another account

Start | Run <type in> services.msc <enter>

Hi,

Can you boot into the system at all? If so.....I will add extra info for
the others; however, cut to the chase and use the last option if this all
applies in your case:

"Logon User Interface DLL Msgina.dll failed to load" error message after you
install the MS04-003 security update
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;836683

The msgina.dll (Graphical Identification and Authentication dynamic-link
library) should be listed in C:\Windows\System32 - Application extention.

This can happen if you installed PCA, VPN Cisco Client, etc. Normally
removing any of the above, the msgina.dll is replaced.

Check here for gina.dll, ginamsi.dll, or CSwgina.dll if either is listed,
remove it, reboot.

Start/Run/Regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\WinLogon.
In the right pane, remove the entry for (XX)Gina.DLL.

Or...

Restore the Windows XP Welcome Screen (Gina.dll) Line 45 - Right hand side

Tried, but it stops after loading Mup.sys

It is loading d347bus.sys when it stops. Any suggestion?

I was able to boot, but after POST (Power On Self Test), it displays the
blue background prior to user select. And lo and behold, the error displayed
itself...

That ain't gonna work, I read it as a fast switching file; Kelly's
link says "File logonui.exe is a Windows core system file."

I read it...

I don't know what to do, simply. I ran Recovery Console, put chkdsk /r into
command

it said it repaired an error, but the same thing happens...

d347bus.sys is not a Windows core file.

Do you have daemon tools installed (or some other virtual drive software)?

To you and anyone, basically.

But it is okay now, ran Full Repair from WinXP disk, nothing was harmed. I
did repair one bad Sector beforehand though.

Thank you all for your assistance.
