We have an issue on workstations that are running Windows 2000 with SP4 and the login scripts are not running on these workstations. Microsoft has issued a fix for this
But when I try to apply this fix the Allow Cross-Forest User Roaming User Profiles does not show up in the gpedit.ms
Here are the instructions how to do this
To resolve this issue, permit cross-forest user policies to run on the Windows 2000 SP4-based computer. To do so:
1. Log on to the computer as a user with administrator rights.
2. Click Start, click Run, type gpedit.msc, and then click OK.
3. Double-click Computer Configuration, double-click Administrative Templates, double-click System, and then click Group Policy.
4. In the right pane, double-click Allow Cross-Forest User Policy and Roaming User Profiles.
5. Click Enabled, click Apply, and then click OK.
6. Quit the Group Policy tool.
Why cant i see this?

Is your domain name a single label DNS name?
Such as "domain" instead of the required "domain.com" format?
