Logon unsuccessful: The user name you typed is the same

Hi all,

I have a user that is trying to access network drives and
this comes up after he enters his info.

Logon unsuccessful: The user name you typed is the same
as the user name you logged in with. The user name has
already been tried. A domain controller can't be found
to verify user name.

I need to use another network username and password to
access.

Any clues?

Cause: it could be the name resolution issue, especially DNS issue.
