logon script

I am having trouble with my logon scripts. I have a Win
NT4 domain with Win 2k clients. Before moving everyone to
Win2k the scripts ran fine in Win 98se. The only changes
were moving from Win 98 to Win 2k. Could someone shed
some light as to why the scripts have stopped running.

show us your script... there might be something in there that is preventing
it from running on 2k.

I figured it out. It was a goto line that was inserted
that bypassed all of the net use commands.

it is possible to put

if group = group
or
if username = username

in a user script??

Only on Windows NT and abot (that excludes 98). There's a resource kit
utility called ifmember.exe.

You can also achieve this type of thing using Kix scripting, but personally
I'm not a great fan.

Oli
