Unable to logon to Win 2K on multiple os pc

I am attempting to set up a pc that is multiple OS. I've installed Win 98SE
as FAT32, then Win 2K as NTFS, and Win XP as NTFS last.
Initially the harddrive was fdisk'ed for Win 98 and Win 2K & XP's installs
were used to create their partition and format them.

While installing Win 2K, drivers for the SATA harddrive are installed
(AHCI). It goes thru the installation just fine and I'm able to run it
without problem, UNTIL, Win XP gets installed after it. After Win XP is
installed I can no longer logon to the Win 2K os. The logon screen comes up
ok but simply won't accept it's password. I've tried it with a blank
password and it still does the same thing.

I've even tried to follow the Win 2K install with another Win 2K in it's own
partition and it behaves the same way as with Win XP.

What am I missing? The pc is a Dell Precision 380 with a 120Gb SATA
harddrive. The drivers for the harddrive are downloaded directly from Dell.

HELP!

You write "... wont' accept its password". Do you mean to say that you
cannot enter a password, or that it says "incorrect password", or that it
cycles back to the password screen without saying anything?

Thanx fro your response! I just got it figured out just a short bit ago. I
was installing the wrong drivers for the SATA. Wonders what the right
drivers can do!
