Logon Script does not execute

S

Stan

New W2K PDC. Defined a user with Logon Script which Maps a share on
the server. The script does not appear to run when the user logs in
(added a MSGBOX to the script). No errors appear in either the server
or the user event logs. Entering the UNC for the logon script in the
user's RUN... results in the script running and the share being mapped
(the user has permission to execute the script and permission to
access the share ... right?).

Help, please ... what have I screwed up or forgotten?

Thanks,
Stan

There is no PDC in AD.

I assume you defined the login script in the user properties, not via
a GPO? Please post the entry you are using. Is the script file located
in the NETLOGON share?

Walter,
Thanks. No, the script isn't associated with any Group. The file is
located in the NETLOGON share. Because you asked, I went back and
carefully checked everything again (for the 30th time in the past
couple of days) and ... I had keyed the fully qualified filename into
the user properties instead of just the path from the share. All I
needed was somebody to rattle my cage a little.
Again, Thanks,
Stan
