logon scripts

When users logon to one of our domain controllers (our PDC
emulator) their logon scripts function normally. When they
happen to logon to our other domain controller, the logon
scripts either partially execute or don't execute at all.
Any suggestions?

is this a win2k domain or do you have win2k3 DC's?

if you recently DCPROMO'd a win2k3 box make sure you transfer the FSMO roles
to that server.

Thanks, but it's all W2K. It's really strange. I can see
the sysvol folder from the problematic domain controller,
and the logon scripts are all available. The NTFrs debug
logs don't seem to indicate a problem, and I've
successfully forced replication among my domain
controllers.

is the logon script defined in a GPO or in the Property sheet of the User's
account in AD?

It's defined in the property sheet of the user's account.
I realize that GPO's would be better, but this is how it
was set up when I arrived 4 months ago. We've got a total
of about 20 different scripts that are assigned based on
the job function of the user.
