LOGON SCREEN: UNREAD EMAILS

for the past week, when I logon to my computer, in the
area where my name and password entry appears, it always
says the I have "4 unread emails" for my hotmail account.
This information is incorrect as I have no emails. How do
I get this to reflect accurately, or better yet edit my
logon screen not to shows this information?

Any suggestions out there?

Hi Martin,

This can be corrected through TweakUI. under TweakUI, navigate to the repair
section and choose 'repair unread mail count' and click on 'repair now'.
