logon password for outlook express

had to restore computer. never in 5 yrs. did i need to
type in password. since restore logon box comes up for me
to type in password every time i open outlook express.
remember password is checked but is greyed out. can
someone please help me. i have xp home edition and
husband also has computer. we have DSL and modem and
router
