Need For Administrator Password?

Sorry for this very basic question but I've always wondered if it was really
necessary to create a password for the Administator Account in WinXP Hm.
This is a home computer and I am the only user. To get to this account, I
have to start Windows in Safe Mode. It is connected to the internet through
a DSL modem and router. Should a computer like this still have a password
for the Administator Account?

Thank you,

Yes. All acounts on a computer which is connected to the outside world
should have a non-obvious password.

Otherwise, you won't be the only users of your computer.
