Logon keeps appearing

I run a Sony Vaio laptop, and have just yesterday
installed a Hewlett Packard deskjet 1350. Since then,
whenever the screensaver appears, and I cancel it to
continue using the computer, the logon screen comes up
and I have to put in my password to remove it. I suppose
there is some setting I can change to stop this
happening, and I hope some kind person out there will
tell me how to put this right.
 
Right click desktop, properties, screen saver tab, set as you like(uncheck:
the password protect or welcome screen option)
 
Im having the same problem after a windows
update....sorry i cant help....but i will be watching for
a reply with help
