When I open up a database (Access 2003) I always get a logon box. When others
open the same database on their machine, they do not get the logon on. Is
there a way to force the logon box to always appear?
Thanks

Yes, but there is a much bigger issue than simply making the logon box
appear.

You have created a password for the "Admin" user in the workgroup file on
your computer. The other users do not have a password. Creating one would
cause the box to appear, as you asked, but that does NOT secure the file.
They could simply take that file to any computer that you did not fix and
open it there.

Sounds like you jumped in and started playing with security on your
computer. That does NOT secure a file. You started in the middle of a
pretty long process.

You need to step back and read all the steps involved in securing a file.
You should create a backup copy of your files, then follow EACH step in the
security instructions. EVERY step must be completed IN ORDER. See links
below my signature...

Look at the properties of the icon you are using to logon. I suspect it
will reference a workgroup file.
