Logon Banner

I have a mixed environment, Win95, Win98, Win2K Pro and
Win XP. I have recently enabled Logon banners from my
Win2K Domain Controllers and currently it is working
correctly on the Win2K and XP platforms.

The 95& 98 workstations are not picking up the banner at
this point, is there a setting that was missed ?

Windows 98 doesn't not anything about active directory and cannot receive
group policy.

You'll find a Windos 98 system policy tool on the original 98 CD at this
location.

Is it possible to create a 95/98 policy and deploy it
from the domain controllers ?

create the 9X policy and copy it to the NETLOGON folder on the DC

Would this be done VIA poledit ?

How would the system (Win2K) know it is a Win9x policy ?
