Logoff Takes Longer with Start; Logoff Than With Ctrl-Alt_Del

I never noticed this with Win2K. But with WinXP logging off takes noticeably
longer when I use Start; Logoff than when I use Ctrl-Alt Delete. I hesitate
to use the word "issue" but is this a known "quirk"? It certainly isn't a
big deal, but it does have my curiosity aroused as to why this occurs.

I have not checked on it, but expect that the answer is that the Start -
Logoff sends word to running applications and allows them time to tidy
up before terminating; the CAD one is more aggressive and just pulls out
the rug
