logo screen

I have xp professional, and I used to get the logo splash
screen when I logged on. You know the one that you can
chose the user.
But now for some reason I'm getting a smaller box that's
asking me for a password.
I want to go back to the logo splash screen how do I do
that?

It's called the welcome screen. Go to start | control panel | User
Accounts. Put a tick mark in "Use the Welcome Screen".

Hi,

Control Panel/Users applet, click "change the way users log on and log
off" - you need to reenable the Welcome screen. Certain systems, such as
those on a domain, cannot use this feature.

Control Panel - User Accounts. Take 'Change way users logon', and
select 'Use Welcome Screen'
