WinXP Splash Screen Off-center

R

Ron Mitchell

When I boot Windows XP Home SP-2, the initial SPLASH screen (with the
Windows XP logo) is off-centered by about 50%. After the Splash screen,
everything else appears normal. This occurs on multiple monitors, so don't
believe it is a monitor issue. Anyone have any idea what could cause that?

Hello,

Use your monitor controls to adjust the display, using the auto adjust
button if possible.

The setting is saved for each resolution so if you adjust the screen when
the Windows XP screen is loading, it will be saved and used everytime the
resolution is shown.

So if you adjust the monitor controls in Windows XP Desktop, it will only
affect the XP Desktop resolution and not the loading screen.
