logo mismatch when trying to reinstall IE6 on XP

I had my IE6 hijacked... I managed to delete the
offending registry but damaged IE so that i cannot get it
to connect and load pages. MSN and SBC browser work fine.

I reset the toggle to allow me to reinstall IE6...but now
when I try to download the files from microsoft it stops
the download saying that the logo check doesn't match
windows XP

Help!
