Logitec Wingman Extreme Joystick

Alan

Since I installed Windows XP my Logitech Wingman Extreme
Joystick is not recognized. I use it with Flight
Simulator 2000. This program loads OK but no Joystick
option. It worked fine on Windows 98.
Any help you might give me would be appreciated.

There are basic function Logitech drivers in Windows XP.

1. Connect the device to the gameport
2. Start -> Run -> Control Panel
3. Switch to "Classic View".
4. Run the Gaming Options control
5. In Gaming Options Click the "Add..." button.
6. From the list choose "Logitech WingMan Extreme"
7. This should install your device.
8. If step 6 doesn't work try the Logitech Wingman Digital Devices (Auto
Detect) option.

You can also try just installing the latest drivers/software package from
Logitech and running those.

Hi Alan,

Make sure it's properly installed. Go to control panel / game
controllers delete it even if it's listed there, and then click Add...
/ choose Logitech Wingman Extreme from the list, and then
calibrate it. The game should recognise it afterwards. GL! :)
