I have searched all the messages in the newsgroup for password and login and
all I come up with are messages saying that this is a question asked daily
and I should search for password or login.
I am sorry to bother you all, but could someone please take a minute and
reply with the magic answer to the question of how to combat the problem of
not being able to log in due to a lost or corrupted password in a W2K
workstation environment? I would be most grateful as I am really in a bind
trying to setup a pc that a disgruntled employee changed the password on. I
need to log in locally as she also changed the workgroup and I can't even
authenticate as ADMIN or guest or another user. I have disabled the ability
for the users to change their passwords to prevent getting stuck again as
this was a poor choice to allow them this option in the first place, but
what's done is done and I HAVE to get this fixed, PLEASE HELP!!!
Thanks VERY VERY much!!!
