I sometimes blame myself for not being clear enough when I post, but
here, this is a Guiness Record...

Sorry i wasnt clear enuf for u. When she turns on puter
both hers and his pics show up and must choose one to
activate. Wondering if he set it up so he cud use puter.
As he isnt aorund to use puter how do we eliminate him all
together.How can she go right to start without this.

first have her login as herself then:
press 'start'> control panel>user accounts
at this point she should see a menu asking her to pick a task;
press 'change an account'> there should be another menu of accounts;
press'his account'>another menu;
press 'delete the account'>'delete files'>'delete account'
should be done at this point
please respond if this does what you need or not

Here is how you go around having the welcome screen
appear:

Start > Run > CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2
Uncheck the box ‘Users must enter a username and
password’ then click Apply.
In the next dialog, enter the user name that you want
logged on automatically, and the password for that
account, if any.
