When I reboot my puter I get a screen that asks me to choose between
1)Microsoft Professional Windows 2000
2)Microsoft Professional Windows 2000 Setup
I have never had that show up before. Why is it showing up now and how can I
get rid of it? Thank you
Debbie

Edit boot.ini located in the root of the system partition (usually C:\)

boot.ini will be something like;

[Boot Loader]
Timeout=30
Default=C:\$WIN_NT$.~BT\BOOTSECT.DAT
[Operating Systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Windows 2000" /fastdetect
C:\$WIN_NT$.~BT\BOOTSECT.DAT="Windows 2000 Setup"

Change it to;
[Boot Loader]
Timeout=30
Default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT
[Operating Systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Windows 2000" /fastdetect

Then you can delete these folders

$win_nt$.~bt
$win_nt$.~ls

Edit rdisk(x) and partition(y) as needed for your situation.

OK, then what I posted originally is exactly what you need to change it to.
