Every time I connect to Mail, I am prompted to enter user/pw. I've tried
going into server and entering them there with the remember pw selected, but
it never remembers it.

Write down or take note of all the account settings, then try removing the
account and rebuilding it?

If you are using any 3rd party software to scan email, this might cause the
problem?

Clicking Apply as usual after setting the Save Password erases the
saved password. Try this: Set the password again and make sure
there is a check mark before Save Password. Don't click on Apply.
Click on OK instead.
