i bought this computer third-hand, without any knowledge of the original administrator password...now I accidentally messed with something in the network settings and can't log in to windows at all...I'm not using this as part of a network, and it came orginally from a college (if that makes any difference)...any ideas are greatly appreciated...

Asked and answered daily. Check existing posts with "Log" or "Password" in
the Subject line.
