Administrator Password????

I recently upgraded from Win 98 to Win 2000. After the installation, a prompt appeared asking for a password with Administrator in the username. I bought the PC at a traveling computer sale and have no idea how to contact the original owner. Is there any way to get around this login? I need to access my VB .net assignments for a college class, so a quick response would be appreciated!

wasn't correct. Any way to change or get around it?
