login password won't let me on my computer

i just made a password on my computer last night so my roommate won't use it
and now it's saying i have an invalid password. does anyone know how to
restart the password so i can get back on my computer and change the
password? damn roommate protection precautions!

Log into the computer using the in-built Administrator account and reset
your user account password.
