login interface is too cluttered

over the years I've changed web servers, local computers
etc etc. and here's the question

I'm using frontpage 2002, when I go to log into my
domain, an interface (with a picture of 2 keys on a ring)
and the name of the website - pops up with my (sometimes)
appropriate login info.

first what is this interface called?

there is a drop-down menu and it's got a dozen different
login selection to choose from
- HOW CAN I CLEAR THIS THIS MENU? are they cookies? how
do i get rid of them so I only have the one and only
current choice?
