Login fails

When using Internet Explorer v6 via my NTLWorlb broadband connection, I have
recently encountered difficulties in accessing online banking, shopping etc.
sites.
I can't even get to the login screens to enter my password etc as these
sites just freeze.
Has anyone any idea what is causing this?

Make sure your firewall is not blocking port 443. See also
