I need to create a login banner that users have to accept before continuing the logon process. In 4.0 I created a batch file with pause staements in. The users would then have to press a key to continue, which would mean they agreed with the banners statement. How can I do this in Windows 2K? I've tried this same appraoch but it doesn't seem to work. First off the login script screen either does not show at all or is minimized at the bottom.

You can use group policy to do this. See Comp Config>Security Settings>Local
Policies>Security Options>Interactive Logon: Message Text...

You ccould also have a logon script that calls your banner batch file.
Basically a batch file run just to call up another batch file.

to other two persons in same organization

I have defined the policy setting for the above as well as the "message title" policy but it does not show when the pc boots. How do I assign the users to the policy? I opened the properties of the policy and went to the security tab and added the administrator account for testing but that didn't fix it.
