Logon Banner Formating

T

Todd Chandler

I am attempting to implement a logon banner through Group Policy for all of
our users. We have a quite lengthy legal disclaimer that needs to be
included in this logon banner. The problem that I am encountering is that
when defining the group policy I have a single line to type the text in on.
This does not allow me to do any formatting such as line breaks and things
of that nature. Does anyone know of a tool or workaround for this? Thanks!

Try using a small fairly unnoticable character between lines such as
period. This way it still recognized the carriage return and allow
you to get away with spacing between lines. It does show the period
but looks much nicer and easier to read than one long line of text.
For example,
