logging on to Windows 2000 Professional

I have changed the settings from a using domain to using a
workgroup. I was then told to shutdown and restart. Now,
when trying to log on, the previous username and password
combination is not working! I do not have the admin
password, so this is not an option. Can anyone help? Is
there any way I can log onto a domain from the login
prompt even though there is nowhere to supply a domain?

You'll have to return the machine to the network where it belongs and ask
the system administrator to rejoin it for you.

As an alternative to taking the machine to work, you can
ask the network administrator for a local account/password.
