Logging on as Admin

roblem Description: Recently I tried to network my laptop
computer and my desktop computer so I could transfer files
between the two quickly. I couldn't get it to work however
so I removed the options for host and guest under network
connections.

When I rebooted my desktop however the screen came up
(which never does) that says select an account to log onto
windows. First of all it provides no options for any
accounts. Secondly when I hit alt ctrl del it does bring up
a window that allows me to type in a user account. However
I cannot get under my admin account... I have tried typing
admin administrator and owner with pws and no pw and I
cannot get under my owner account. Please tell me how to
get on under my admin/owner account.
