Logging in to Windows XP directly, with no welcome screen

I have a standalone computer with one account, other than administrator and guest and I am interested in knowing how to get the computer not to display a welcome screen or the classic logon prompt and go right into the desktop. I have a computer at home that after I upgraded it from Win ME to XP, doesnt have any kind of login screen, but the computer that I did a fresh install of XP gives me a choice of 2 types of logins, the welcome screen and the classic NT style login screen. Can someone help me?
